    Italian gold bandoleer question

Hello, I have a quick question concerning the Italian gold bandoleer.

I have seen some with the medusa head on it, and others with an eagle. Whats the difference? I know its suppose to be worn with the metal shoulder straps, but thats it. Is one for early uniforms and other for later ones?

    Thanks.

The bandoliers gold, were introduced in 1933 with the reform Baistrocchi.
The bandolier with the head of Medusa was destined to artillery.
The bandolier with the eagle, was destined for everyone else, to exclusion Engineers and Bersaglieri, who had the eagle gold on the rear pouch instead of silver.
    Ciao, Luca

Can anyone tell me the difference between the ones I have seen that has a small circle with a cross in it on the metal eagle compared to a shield design with a cross in it? The eagle hangs down from the medusa head.

        Thanks.

is just a variation, there were many manufacturers and each one graced with their own pleasure these accessories.
