Hi Tankredi...at first glance i thought it was a Republican fascio off the grip of a 1923 MVSN poniard dagger...till i read your description ,size etc and looked at my own dagger's grip...then i could see that it is not of course!?.It does look like one...so i lean in that direction..an early PNF pin badge???..very nice all the same ....Semovente.( is that a number on the axe head ?.)
