So, they would have worked as a Military recruiter?

In the "distretti" were made medical visits, for fitness for military service,
dogtags were made here, and compiled the personal file of the soldier "Foglio Matricolare".

Would they have worn the sash with this uniform? I thought it woulda been more for the parade dress.

Not correct, the sash is used with the parade uniform, but was also used by the officers, in uniform for the officer of the guard (Ufficiale di Picchetto), with the sam brown, and gun holster.

Very interesting. Thank you for that information. I did some searching and saw a couple images were a soldier was wearing the sash with the sam brown belt over it. And with a belt (no shoulder strap) going over the sash. So I take it that would have been the correct way to wear it.

Correct method of wearing the sash, the officer of the guard.
