If you post this in the SS forum those guys will give you some good feedback. They are great at spotting fake decals. I am no expert but the decals make me nervous.Comment

The existence of the SS M33 is debatable.
It's sure that there were many painted insignia (as this one...), sure also that RSI/SS were believers of their mission, so It's plausible that at a personal level a soldier painted the rune decal and Italian flag...
With painted insignia It's almost impossible to say "when"...Comment

The problem of these helmets SS Italian depends on the lack of pictures. There are very few available for those judgments. And the few photos available cast doubt on the friezes and do not provide any clarity on the friezes used. Hello.Comment
