Here's the Beretta M-35 pistol that I recently lucked into. It's dated 1941, and includes the holster and both magazines. Condition is excellent, with a perfect bore.

I wasn't aware the RE stamp was rare on a '35, glad I know now. I lean toward the 1934, and all those I looked at had the RE stamp, so Im not sure if its rare on that model.

There is something strange: if I see right the serial is 909.xxx and this was applied on 1941 to a model 1934 in 9c (.380) and not to a model 1935 in 7,65 (.32).
The RE mark was applied only to Regio esercito (Royal Army) guns while the Model 1935 were assigned only to RA (Regia Aeronautica or Royal Air Force), Police, and civilian.
Is this the reason that model 1935 rarely has RE marks, and only on left side.

Yes, the caliber is 9mm Corto, making this a M1934. My mistake. The serial number is 909485, marked on frame, barrel, and slide. Thanks, all!
Now all is correct! The holster is German style made with Italian gray-green leather.
