    Hello, all!

I've worked on the grouping a little since my last post and I thought I'd give you an update...

A new participation medal ribbon arrived. I removed the Allied victory ribbon from the participation medal and put both ribbons on their proper medals.

A WWI vintage postcard from the Brigata Piacenza also arrived. To the best of my knowledge, these were given to all soldiers to write home on. As such, it's possible that my bisnonno wrote home on one, too.

All I am waiting on is the 1917 and 1918 year bars for the participation medal ribbon... I ordered them before Christmas... I hate playing the waiting game!

Here's a photo... I photoshopped the year bars in just to see how it would look! Sorry... this stuff excites me!

Unless I find a photo of my bisnonno in uniform, or another medal/ piece of insignia that belonged to him... The grouping is complete!
