I do not want to open a new topic, so I raise old one.

What is the final finish Croatian 369. WH. Linden Leaf?
Zinc or some kind of aluminum alloy?

In fact I saw one piece, which is totally covered with silver finish, with no trace of any green-black patina?

      Cleaned or full mint?

I heard a rumor that all leafs with the silver "fleck" are postwar.
The originals core is some kind of aluminium alloy and the finish was zinc?

I would like to see what a post war example looks like, original seem to be alum. that is darkened indeed, they were made in anticipation for the return of the soldiers, so the majority went unissued, flown out wounded made it back

Linden leaf was produced in two variants:
One is produced by the Brothers Knaus Zagreb, and the other MeBa also from Zagreb.
                  (All from the WW2 period.)
                  These fact often confuse collectors.

All of them you see in this style and pattern are original.
These were found in very very large numbers in the early 90s if i recall correctly. Lots of them were made however less soldiers came back then expected.

NOTE that this medal was given for serving with the 369th reinforced infantry regiment in the east and NOT the 369th infantry division which was assembled in late 42 and never saw fighting far from the balkan region.
