NORDFRONT CROSS please some second opinions on it. THANKS!

Hi Guys,

I would like to get this Nordfront cross from a fellow WAF member. It looks good to me and the seller is a good guy, but unfortunately neither of us is an expert when it comes to this medal which is a bit of an odd bird. It is a Finnish medal awarded also to German personell who fought up in the Artic circle. As this was a rather limited contingent of Army, Luftwaffe and W-SS, it is a less known and, in the literature, disussed item. Please help the seller and me out with some knowlegable comments on originality. Thanks. Enjoy the weekend!

I think its fine here since Finland was a ally of the Axis . I had both models at one time with black enamel and the white. I remember my screw back having a maker mark . I would need one in hand now to see if any difference.

Nice original.

This was issued also to the Finnish troops serving side-by-side with the Germans in Lapland.
