Shoulder Boards

I'm having a difficult time finding any info on these shoulder boards. Just was told that they were Italian Infantry Officers Dress Shoulder Boards. Any info would be great, and if any of you can tell me if these are real, I don't want any fake stuff in with my collection.

Original, are for the parade uniform, for M34 officers tunic.
