Now a Partisan impression which consists of standard British wool BD pants, worn along with a short tunic,
cut as a British BD jacket but made in Italian Gabardine wool (same smooth wool as used on German uniforms post armistice)

The right medal seems to be yugoslav order for bravery. Perhaps the guy fought in Slovenia with the IX. korpus witch had some italian units.

The medal is like this. It was given to the partisan in war time, probabily 1944. Made in CCCP, typical is the circle ring, the big letters, and the very low number.

                        Hi guys

Nick you have a very nice tunic.

Original partisan items are very hard to find. In most cases they dressed with civilians clothes or ex military clothes so is very difficult to distinguish them.
It is possible only in presence of badge or other typical objects surely originals.

Here is my little contibution to this considerable thread.

this is an headscarf owned by a partisan of the II Divisione d'Assalto Garibaldi F. Cascione. It has been found in an attic of a house in Liguria. It has faded colors by time, the red has become yellowish and green of the Italian flag is hardly visible.
Felice Cascione was the commander of the first partisan bands near Imperia, a town of the Liguria region. He died in 27 gen 1944. in July 44, as the partisans were numerous enough, they were grouped in the II nd assault Garibaldi Division "F. Cascione" (three brigades).

These are the Armband and a shoulder board of a medical officer belonging to the Partisans Groups stationed in the rescue place of Uscio (small Ligurian hinterland village). This medical officer had to be previously a military because the stars on the band and the grades on the strap are clearly of military origin.
Below them we can see the Armband of his male nurse.
In the Uscio village there is a little museum dedicated to these local fighters.
Also you can still see out of the village the old hollow tree used to hide from enemy dispatches and other

"ITALIAN PARTISAN WEAPONS in WWII" BY USAI & RICCIO - SCHIFFER

It's now on sale by Schiffer the English edition of my book about the weapons used by Italian partisans during the years 1943-1945.
My friend Ralph Riccio translated the Italian text and expanded it with a lot of upgrated images.
There are many documents, instructions and profiles about every weapon. Each profile is completed with at least a photo of the gun in partisan's hands. The book is plenty of vintage pictures, so you can also see the "uniforms" the partisans used.
A book you must read if you are interested in this subject or just in History.
