help italian pants

Hello, i need help to identify this pants, it is dated 1941,it has two false pocket which gives access to trousers underneath, so I think a overtrousers, the fabric is very thick. thank you serge

Very nice war time Italian. No doubt over-trousers (parka or wind- proof / ski trousers), so intended for mountain troops,
which explains the flared bottoms! (to cover ski-bindings probably)
