The jacket is an Italian ww2 camiciotto for troops.
The stamp 3 is inside the jacket and indicates the size.

I assume the RBNR stamp is in the trousers. Trousers are not Italian, rather German.

Yep classic Italian tropical uniform jacket (non sahariana style) as issued to the Italian colonial troops.
Never seen worn by Germans, they prefered the Sahaiana cut Italian tunic jackets!
Thye pants on the other hand are indeed German in cut (with typical side buckles).
If the pants material match the jacket its because Italian Olona cloth was used
which the Germans (after September 1943, post armistice) confiscated used inventories of (large bolts)
for their own tropical/summer uniform manufacturing needs. German SudFront M43 tunics are often made from this material.

To me, neither color nor material of the trousers are matching with the camiciotto.

Also, IMHO this is not Olona cloth. Olona cloth was way thicker and was not used for camiciotti.

By some photos it looks a khaki 'tela olonetta ' and the cut of the tunic is the
one of the 'Camiciotto Sahariano M.40'. The Rbnr marking inside the trousers
is German (never seen before on this clothing).Probably captured and reissued after the Armistice of 1943?PaoloM
