    Hi Gents!

I would like to know yours opinion about these Gorget, because I buy it in 2009 at Hermann Historica Auction.

One collector say to me that these Gorget is a copy of an original one!
Is not mine intention to fraud any collector, thus.......
Please, be free to make yours consideration, and please post some pics of original Gorget to compare..... for understand the difference between a copy to one original!

Its all in the details - the easiest way to spot the fakes is the hatching lines in the shield and the veins on the oak leaves. There is also the fact that yours is just plain mint and I have never seen an origianl in such mint condition. Not even the ones in the Hungarian Military Museum are in such mint condition and they have a lions share of them in their collection. These were worn at the front during a chaotic time. Many were thrown in the trash, hidden or burried as the 3rd Ukranian Army moved across Hungary. There was many rumors and truth to the fact that any Hungarian in uniform who had any associaiton with the Csendorseg would be shot on the spot as an SS troop by the Red Army. So they all fled, distroying anything that associtated them with the Csendorseg. In all Hungarian collectiong the Csendorseg is the most difficult to find. As a result these exceptionally rare items are being faked along with the pilots daggers, etc...
