    Msvn grande tunic

    THIS tunic ,a officer? in the MSVN has medal ribbons for the medal of Valour and the kinght of the medal of the Grand Cross .He has 2 loops above that .Would that be pilot wings or something else would fit there?Also the collar does not have black backing where the badges are.Is this later issue say 1940?I have pants which I will post but not sure they match.

    I believe this is not a MVSN tunic but a PNF Tunic.

          I agree, fasci on buttons and collar tabs are PNF, not MVSN.
          That's a summer jacket for a PNF party member.

                Hallo actionoke

                In my opinion, the ribbon bar is positioned incorrectly and is clearly incomplete.

                  - with regards to the second portrait posted by Raffaello we have here an evening ceremonial dress for a sotto-capomanipolo (2nd lieutenat) of the MVSN, probably from the year 1938 and after;

                  - with regards to the summer white uniform shown by aktionoke, I have to say that it could be for the MVSN company officers from the year 1931 and after, but its gilt shoulder boards were used for the full dress grey-green uniform and not for the summer white one. In my opinion, some original pieces but mixed in a careless way.

                  best regards

                    the metal buttons with fascio are tipycally of the state officials uniform
                    or PNF uniforms; the MVSN have different button with eagle and fascio.
                    cheers

                      Hallo Raffaello

                      If I remember well the buttons with fasces were used from 1923 to 1933 and the buttons with eagles and fasces from 1933 to 1938.

                      Best regards

                        In any case, if it was a uniform for a civil official of the royal age, the metal shoulder boards and the collar fasces would be wrong. To be honest, these white jackets were worn by the Carabineers (Somaliland Police) and by both the Air Force and the Police officers (in Italy) at least from ten to twenty years after the war.
