    Finnish Nordfront Cross & More

    Hi Gang!

I have the opportunity to purchase this piece. I am assuming it's genuine.

Any idea what would be a fair price to pay my friend for this piece? I really have no experience with the medal but I would like to own it assuming it's a good piece. I'm not sure what happened to the flag on the right... it almost looks like someone painted over it.

    Thanks in advance.

Looks good to me! Don't know about value, I let someone else chime in.

    Best Regards,

    Adren

      That's a great Lapplandfront fob!

I think both black variants of this canteen memento are not too common and those made in to a fob are even more uncommon.

I think the price range is somewhere between $500-800.

Original badges, no question about that.

Regarding the value/price, be sure to take in to consideration that the badge has enamel damage or paint on the German flag, could be an attempt to denazify.

There were 3 basic kinds, the nordfront cross (most common), the lappland front cross and eismeer front cross. All 3 came in either black or white and all had differing dates, ie. 42, 43 and 44.

this one i'd say is the third most common behind white and black nordfront crosses dated 41-43

they sell for about 260-280 euros on their own in europe.
