Italian helmet with greek liner?

A friend offered this helmet to me, he told me it is a pre 45 model wich was delivered to greece, is that true? What is the value of such a helmet?

Yes, it is a French m26.

The first helmet is the (Italien made) m.39.

This type was designes as the successor of the m33 but rejected by the Italian Army.
So the shells were sold to Greece where they were fitted with a Greek liner+chinstrap.

Sometimes one can find these Greek m39 over-painted with either Italian or Bulgarian liners. In both cases helmets were captured after the Greek surrender, overworked and reissued to Italian and Bulgarian second lines unit.

From time to time Greek m39s turn up with a British mkII type liner installed.
These are ais to be post ww2 Greek Police helmets.
