    italian side cap bustina

    Hi,

I recently bought this italian m 34 side cap. I'm happy of my purchase, the cap seems to have a long story because of his condition.

But the royal crown has been removed, what does it mean?

Thanks a lot for your help

    Clément

    Hi Clément,

nice m 34 side cap (bustina) imho removed the crown after 8th September
1943 during R.S.I. (Repubblica Sociale Italiana: the fascist government) some
specimen without crown were factory with new style design.
    cheers

        (any rank will do)

          Hi,

Thank you, I've got a last question, the frontal insigna is for musician or infantery school (because of the cross), does it mean that this major was issued from a school or was a permanent instructor ?

The little cross in the circle means that this Major was assigned to an infantry school OR that his role was in a unit not incorporated in a Division.

Could you please post a close up of the rank?

              Hi,

Thanks, for Militeignoto a close up of the rank :

              Little display

Helmet m33 and the gas bag (with blood???) come from Hyères/Toulon (South France), maybe a soldier of Divis. Taro or Lupi which were on the coast in this sector. After sept. 1943, italians become prisonners or "Hilfer" on coastal artillery position.

Or a use after the 1946 untill 1951 when was made the news badge with the flame.
In reality in grey green can be used until the 1948 when coming out the new uniforms in caky color.
