Hello everyone, I hope this is not the wrong forum for a question like this but I am currently working on a diorama 1/72 and I needed some infomation before I start. I had heard stories of the Afrika Korps and the Italian Army fighting against one another in 1943 after Italy signs the Armistice. I would like to know if there any truth to that?

The German Army(Afrika Korp) and the Italians had already been defeated in Africa by Sept 8, 1943 and were no longer there.
There were some clashes between the Germans and Italians after the armistice in other areas of occupation and in Italy. On the other side of the coin others stayed loyal to the Axis cause. -
Afrika Korps were defeated in Afrika on May 1943, so it's impossible that they fought Italians on september 1943.
