    Can any one tell me if this is real or not. I have never seen a configuration like this. What is the time period it is supposed to be from.

    It is a flight badge for torpedo aircraft pilots/crew members. Looks like it is Gold Grade. They came in three different grades (Bronze, Silver and Gold depending on the number of missions). They are wartime badges. The attachment method of the torpedo is somewhat different, but I think it is ok. I believe there were a number of different manufactures for these.

      When you say wartime do you mean WWI or WWII.
