Seems genuine to me.
Painted badge, for Regia Marina helmet there were also decals.
I have the same helmet in my collections.


What's the serial code in the neck of your helmet?
On mine it's: P2 and an anchor with crown

As I suspected! Our helmets are brothers from the same P2 batch!

very interesting thanks for sharing, another code P3 with
anchor and crown in an M33 Regia Marina postwar reused
and repainted (make part of collection of my friend Pasquale)
