    M33 Marina

    Hello guys,
Usually I collect only german lids, but this time I tried to change target.
    Good shot?

It is getting home from the States.

    It looks correct to me...

    Let me know.

          Seems genuine to me.
Painted badge, for Regia Marina helmet there were also decals.
I have the same helmet in my collections.

What's the serial code in the neck of your helmet?
On mine it's: P2 and an anchor with crown

                    Hello Folks,
Finally I've got the lid delivered.
                    Here are some more shots.
Someone could help with marks on shell and liner?
                    Thank You!

                    Worn ad damaged liner

                    Liner size "57"

Shell mark "P2" and a crowned little anchor

                    Ink stamp

Engraved stamp with city of producer, I guess (Torino)

As I suspected! Our helmets are brothers from the same P2 batch!

If it's Torino than it must be Singalesi company.

I bought it from a mailorder-vendor from Terni.

about the engraved mark, I think it is by S. MAGGIANI & C. - TORINO 19??
                            Have a nice day.

anchor and crown in an M33 Regia Marina postwar reused
and repainted (make part of collection of my friend Pasquale)

"six italians, dressed in rather unusual diving suits and equipped with materials of laughably little cost have swung the military balance of power in the Mediterranean in favour of the Axis".
