    What document is it?

This document has been given me by the holder an ex lance-corporal of the third reggiment bersaglieri; of what document he treats? And' it a common or rare document in how much I date to an Italian soldier? Thanks Gian Alberto

This is a "Geneva Convention" ID Card showing this soldier is designated as a "litter bearer" and protected by International Law, etc. Obviously issued by
German Wehrmacht to an Italian soldier ....lot's of interesting possibilities.....

Not super rare but alittle unusual, certianly should be of interest to many of us "out here"....

id say an unusual personal identification. Seen the armbands...Id say desireable , especially to a red cross collector. Is it on linen?

Nice RSI era item. I checked the databases for war dead . He is not on it. This may have helped.

Me too....it appeared like it was linen Anytime you see cremona that means italy. Antique violins italian made say the same . I think its a valueable document for sure. I would hesitate to try and guess a price, but i wouldnt think it would be cheap. nice score.

According to you which it would be its value? However the document is not in sale; thanks

Dannis, may I know why do you consider it RSI?

I didn't say or mean it was officially RSI. I stated RSI "era" as in Italy post Sept 8,1943 to April 28,1945 during the RSI period. Sorry if I confused you.

Yes, it is a German document.

                            Hello Dennis,

                            Thanks for the reply.

Since it was released in Innsbruck, the guy was of course one of the several thousands italians enlisted in the german units.
By the way, a huge part of RSI's North Italy was annexed to Germany from sept.43 to may.45; in that area enlistening by RSI military authorities was prohibited by Hitler.
