    Bulgarian camo helmet

This Bulgarian camo helmet is on auction, i know nothing about these helmets, but find this one interesting. How does it look and which amount should i maximum pay?

It is a Model “C” (I believe these were late war manufacture) that has been “re-issued” post war during the communist era. Really don’t know what a value range is but I have seen a number of these (Model A, B and C reissue camos with no real standardization) offered in the past few years, but they do seem to be appearing less often.

Lee, thank you for the information. I noticed the red star in the front and thought it had been reissued by the Red Army during the war

Model C indeed, it was introduced in 1940 /at least I have 1940 dated photo with a C well visible/. Not more than 15 $. This paint is very late. If the red star is under it, then it is even post-1990. The red star is from the Bulgarian commie army.

If the camo was well preserved. I'd say 20 $, just as a variation. But for what it is, I'd say 10 - 15 $.

Thanks Theodor, then it's well overpriced at the auction
