Hi,
It is an old Danish regimendt badge.
I would think that it is very old and a nice thing to find.

Falsterske Foot Regiment) was a Danish Army infantry regiment. On 1 August 1976 it was amalgamated into Danske Livregiment, where its tree battalions continued to exist until 1981.

Falsterske Fodregiment can trace its history back to 1747. The Regiment has participated in the wars, Slaget på Reden (1801), Gunboat War (1807-1814), First Schleswig War (1848-1850) and Second Schleswig War (1864). The regiment banner has engraved Bov 1848, Slesvig 1848, Isted 1850 and Sankelmark 1864.

the first regiment marks came in 1949 in brass for placement on the collar.
believe that it dates from between 1949-51.
so really old is not, but I would think that this is the first model.
