    What do you think of this ring with the German style helmet and crossed weapons.

    I hope this is the right place to post this..

    Thanks in advance,

    /Carl

          Looks to me like an original private purchase ring w/ black onyx, and gold attachment rivet well. Marks are very fine, but what they mean is unclear to me. Figure out the mark date the ring. I wouldnt think its a 1907 ... The gold emblem on the onyx I cant figure out either, due to wear. This ring has been worn a lot. Whats the story you know on it, because i think its alright. Imo very nice. Just saw the mark is 815 silver. http://www.modernsilver.com/basichallmarks.htm the mark is here scoll down some.(813 H or K silver mark) Youre right it may be finnish ...Some finnish marks are on this link , now you just have to figure out the date, then youll have the answer, may not be ww2...youll find out eventually.

            Yes, it's Finnish ring. Most likely sold at canteen as souvenier from conscript time.

            It's for anti tank units and this design as their unit symbol was ordered well after the war.

            Ring is made of silver and stamps "last box" with two digits tells the manufacturing year.

            It's bit difficult to read but IMO it's either

            O7 =1967
            or
            Q7 = 1969

            From the stamp you can also see who was the manufacturer/goldsmith but I'm afraid I don't know those (have a file somewhere though).

            Nicely stamped, most likely some big & respected goldsmith!

            I hope this helps!

              Thanks for the help guys!

              The ring was a gift to my father from a friend. I asked if he know where it came from but sadly he forgot where he got it..

              Thanks,
              Carl
