Why don't you fly over here and take a look at the cities the colored folk destroyed because in general they act like animals and then blame everything they do on everybody else. A MAJORITY of the problems of this country are caused by the MINORITY. By the way, a large amount of white America has Italian heritage including myself!

Blimey. There's quite a few rasicist slants on this thread. Generally, everyone was the same in WW2. Black/Ethnic troops usually got the crappy jobs, and were easily demonised by Axis propoganda. Germany at the time wasn't known for its tolerance to anything 'Non-Aryan', and Italy usually followed suit due to the fact that most of its soil was under German occupation at the time (Post 43). If you look at Allied propoganda at the time, then they can be viewed for what they are. Xenophobic stereotypes portrayed in such a way that you de humanised them so therefore made it easier to kill them. Thats war. Some of this ethos still remains in the British psyche today. The Italians being moustachioed cowards, the Germans square headed bully boys and the Japanese wearing pebble glasses and buck teethed. Its just funny that most people here would rather drive an Alfa, VW or Toyota than anything else! The problem is that WW2 propoganda was SOO effective, its aftershocks still affect us today, regardless of the facts and truth.

As for the US screwing up. I beg to differ. Some US banks might have gone under quicker but the British Government screwed up much faster than anyone else, and still let the failing banks give themselves bonuses, out of the 500 billion pounds the British taxpayer gave them to keep themselves afloat. The only way we can see us getting it back is revoking the US's declaration of independance and asking for the tax payments on tea since 1776.
