The pouch shown on that thread is original WWII, but not Italian.

I don't think so.They're very similar but not Italian. The Germans used
for this equipment everything was available, so I can think these items
have been made on the late '43 or 1944.I've the same loops on
unmistakable German stuff, together with the same cloth that I presented
on this forum on a strange German made small back pack, unknown for the
moment. Bye,
