    Unknown (foreign) M33 variation

    Dear all,

I came across below helmet. Which (foreign) variation is this of the M33?
The shape is different, but the overall feature including the rivets is the same.
The interior is similar to the M31.
It is no Modello Greco or an Bulgarian M51.
    I am really curious.

    Thank you,

This is not related to M33. This is a Portugal helmet M40. It may be inspired by the Spanish M26 helmets, but for sure not by the M33.

        Dear Theodor and wallonien,

Thank you for your replies. Never came across one before (or at least I didn't noticed it). Seems to be a first pattern, with its original 40's leather.
        I have learned something today.

        Thanks again.
