This is an uniform of a lieutenant of the M.V.S.N, worn between March 1939 and the 1st of August 1943 and belonged to a former Squadristi.

Yes! It's an M40 tunic of a CAPOMANIPOLO (lieutnant) of the Milizia Volontaria
Sicurezza Nazionale (M.V.S.N.), the red stripe and the emailed red Fasci,
they make us understand that the officer has served in the SQUADRISTI,
(black shirts during the march on Roma 1922).
            The ribbons:
2 (two) VALORE MILITARE in Silver
            CROCE AL MERITO DI GUERRA
            1915-1918 Medal (4 star=4 year of war)
            UNITA' D'ITALIA 1848-1918
            LIBIA 1911-12
            MARCIA SU ROMA
            CAMPAGNE FASCISTE (TWO YEAR)
ORDER OF SKANDEMBERG (ALBANIA CAMPAIGN 1939)
See this link for other information about ribbon medals:
            http://www.saintjohn.nbcc.nb.ca/host/italian/index.htm
The belt and the blue sash are for the parade uniform.

It's a rare and wonderfull uniforms of a Fascist Officer.
            Compliments
            Regards, Luca

I have seen this set for sale on the internet before, including boots, for 1650.
I am not getting to this amount.

                Greetings,

Too much money for a model of uniform like that!

More sample to do a m.40 tunic for an officer of the Milizia.
In every case probably this one in use after the 1941, before the Milizia use the metalic buttons.

From what i see i don't like the collar badges, horribles with a bad cut respect at the collar.

Is it one of the lot of completes of fantasy on internet, if this Capomanipolo whas a Squadrista, where is it the badge (or the signs) of this?

Better the tunics with black piping but of corse this are rarest and so we can't see that on internet!

                      @Lafitte;

Please read my comment on the price more carefully, as I agree with you, and it is not mentioning the actual value:
"I have seen this set for sale on the internet before, including boots, for 1650.
I am not getting to this amount."

I am referring to the following site were this uniform has been listed/is still listed:
                      http://waffen70.blogspot.com/2008/05...ufficiale.html

Regarding the collar patches: I have seen these this quality before and I presume you too.
I am more interested in way you believe this is a fantasy grouping. You are referring to a badge? For the dress regulations the red sleeve strip and the red fasces were indications of a Squadristi. So why a badge should have been added? Furthermore the battons on the uniform related to the March on Rome and the Fascist Campaigns indicate a Squadristi.
Ofcourse all could have been added, making a fantasy piece, but why are you so sure on this one?
                      Please share your thoughts.

In the end I agree on the pricing, price should be way lower, even if the set is ok.

                      Greetings,

It is quite obvious that this set raises a lot of discussion and that it surely needs a close hands-on-inspection about stitching, ribbons, etc.
I have a question: what is the colour of the pre-war trousers' thin central stripe?
