B.U.F. Pin Badge

I don't know exactly where to post this pin so if it's the wrong section please move it to the appropriate one.
I have bought this pin several years ago but I completely forgot about it until recently when it popped up from one of my boxes. I didn't pay much for it and I'm not sure of it being original so if somebody can help to shed some light it will be much appreciated. Thank you all.

The badge you have is British Fascisti and not BUF.
The British Fascisti were formed in 1923 by Rotha Lintorn Orman and she was a decorated hero in the First World War.She started the organisation as a response to the perceived communist threat from Russia and the rise of the
british communist party.They helped the British authorities during the general strike.

The badge has been copied in the UK but yours looks ok.
The website Gentlemans Military Interest Club carries a thread about the BF that you will find of use.

By the way Rotha was a very interesting woman and worthy of research.
