I would appreciate your feedback/confirmation on below medal of the WW1 Italian 3rd Army.
I believe it is a 70s fake or at least a re-issue. I know this cross exist in silver and bronze and 2 variations of texts on the back and that small variations in quality exist as this medal was privately purchased.
This example is not of silver, but has a painted silver wash. The detail quality is low compared to the examples I know (look at the crown and San Marco Lion and hanger). The text on the back is off the most common variation: A Ricordo E Riconoscenza.
Most disturbing is the light weight due to the fact the medal is really thin:1.25mm.
