Sure looked like they were no good...I suspected that...but these were offered by a well known UK dealer...so I was still a little hopefull!
I was hoping the pitting was age related, but I guess its casting bubbles (casting inperfections)... because these are crude copies...oh well...

Nick, I've no time to search right now, but I'm almost sure some original RSI
gladius of the time (made with zamac material) have been widely illustrated
in one or more threads in this forum. If not, I'll be able in the next days in providing adeguate photos.Ciao,

What about this set? Any good? Is it strictly for a uniform or can these also be used on a greatcoat ?

Hello all.
I thought I would add one of my sets to the thread, They are scanned hence a touch of washout.
Also scanned them opposing for some reason or another.
