    Another Italian tunic question

Another piece for evaluation. I'm still not very up to speed on the Italian Army!
What have we got here? Its wool so that's a good sign that its worth more money, right? but what is it? Branch, Rank? vintage? Value...
Asking price just another $285 and of course advertised as WW2... I'm not sure it is...

Maybe I'm wrong but it looks a post WWII tunic of the Italian Police, bearing
the crimson piped sh.boards with the rank of a Warrant Officer (Maresciallo).
The collar patches look simply pinned on and they're not for this tunic, together
with the brass buttons, of which one can't see the details.PaoloM

              OK its a dud...
SO how about this one? because of the dark collar its an older prewar tunic,
if I'm not mistaken. Branch? rank is officer.
Sorry I don't have shoulderboard detail pictures...

                matching pants

This one comes with officer's woolen matching pants! value?
The earlier tunic was no good but I think we definately have a winner this time!
                (my brother owns it)

To say something I need at least some details on the sh. boards and on the
buttons. The rank badges on the cuffs are those of an Infantry Major.
                  No markings inside?PaoloM

                            set

The tunic and pants set also came with the major's overcoat, all from the same officer.
It was found in Australia. Perhaps an Australian vet bring back? Or the Italian major immigrated to Australia and kept this set as a souvenir?
Too bad the tailor label is missing. Any idea on value for these 3 pcs?
