Italian 'V' Pilot Wing for Opinions

Looking for opinions on the authenticy of this wing. My references say it's a "Velocity" pilot wing, and I believe the design is from the WWII period or just before (but I may be wrong). My internet search turned up a similar wing, but with the "V" in red enamel. The wing is unmarked, and not mine (but could be).

Any/all opinions/comments welcome. Thanks in advance!

Not a medal expert but the few I saw original the V was smaller and the badges were all marked on the back made by S. Johnson Milano
