Is this a WW2 Italian helmet?

I bought this a couple of years ago when collecting helmets of all the WW2 participants-I was told it was WW2 Italian. It is a small size

That's a post war M33. You should look for one with leather chin strap, and also the war period grigio verde color. Anyway the shell is probably a WWII recycled one.
