    SLOVAKIA volunteers??

    on a online military shop called warelics they had a SLOVAKIA BEVO SLEEVE SHIELD. which unit wore this sleeve shield was there a slovakia volunteer legion in the German army? best regards Ben

      Slovakia already had its own combat formation that provided military support to the Germans during Operation Barbarossa so there was no reason for them to wear a national arm-shield. One of these formations being the famous Schnelle Division placed under German command….. more information can be found in my web page under Slovakian stamps:

      There were however Slovakian volunteers that joined German para-military units such as the NSKK, Todt, etc. that wore German uniforms and could have probably wore their national arm-shield unfortunately I have not come across pictures illustrating Slovakians wearing such a shield.

        thank you very much yeah what it was that under the sleeve shield is said used by slovakia volunteers in the wehrmacht. is there a site that deals with ORG TODT or any other units? regards Ben
