I have here an Italian officers brocade but thats about all I know. I have a feeling that it might be an MVSN buckle, I have a picture in one of my books of an MVSN man wearing a very similar buckle except the belt is leather. On the belt hook there is a mark which says SAFS NAPOLI. I've seen this type of brocade on another website which is pretty much the same except for the catches which are plain whereas on this example the catches feature an ornate snake design. I'll let the pictures do the talking I hope someone out there can help.
