Red military merit cross help

I am not an expert on awards. Please can you tell me if this cross is orig. or a fake.A bit confusing is a silver metal instead of golden one and a combination of silver body cross with golden bar metal stripe. Thank you very much in advance!!!

Militar Merit in red ( war actions) The white stripes are for a pensioned award, now I don't know how much. When for the action belongs more than a "red cross" but less than the "war cross" is given the pensioned red cross
This cross is made years 70

Ok,but still do not know why this metal used is " silver" and not "golden" one?
Can anyone explain?
