    Traditions Badge?

    This looks like a traditions badge for hat or tunic ? but not sure if even Italian
    please help

        I think you are right.. they give it to you after working six months with out cutting your finger off on the meat slicer..

          My father hunted for fun in past times and a lot of these types of pins were put on the cap after a succesfull kill.

          My assumption is, that it could be a German/Austrian hunting trofee after a kill of a wild pig.

            Maybe I'm wrong but I think to have seen this badge on a WWII period

              Good eye . I researched a little more and in fact it is WWII beret badge for the Belguim Chasseurs Ardennais. I found this from a old publication showing the same badge listed with other WWII insignia of the Chasseurs Ardennais, it looks to be the same as the one over the number 1

                It is indeed a WWII period Ch.A badge, which was also used on collar tabs and schoulder straps. Nice one!
