Any Info on this Hitler Lenin Cig case

This cigarette case has been handed down to me from my Grandfather that has recently passed away. He served in WWII as An Intel officer & was in Germany on the final days. He said he got it from a desk in Hitler’s home office on an Intel sweep. Any info on it would be great. I think it may have to do with "The Pact Of Steel" May 22, 1939. I hear this is the right place for info on this item . Any info on its rarity or even Potential value would be great. Thanks.

Excuse Steve, but where you see Lenin? On this wonderful piece of history
I see on the left side, Mussolini and on the right side Hitler, and below a
Lictory Fascio and a Swastica!!! Am I wrong?
    Cheers, PaoloM

Hey Steve - Welcome to the WAF and thanks for posting something from your grandfather.
Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did. Quote - Sophie Scholl - White Rose resistance group

My sincerest apologies. You are right it is Mussolini. I must have been stuck on stupid when I started the thread. I will try to revise. If anyone can tell me anything about this piece, It would be a big help.

Steve, It seems like a very nice item. I would say Italian made because of the predominance of the Italian slogan " Vincere" (Victory).
Value hard to say . Whatever the freight will bare. The Hitler connection would have to have strong providence to up its value. It appears to be a commercial item to Commemorate the Italian -German War Alliance.

ps. Hitler didn't smoke although Eva did .

                LOL Thanks,

I know Hitler had a big thing against smoking . Italian made for sure. VINCERE translated to english"TO WIN". This is one of my most prised pieces in my WWII Collection. I guess thats why my Gramps left it to me.

I love these cases, I owned one and it was just like this besides mine didn't have a simulated cover, mine had the silver case with Plaque. I sold mine about 6 months ago for approx $250.00

                  hope that helps.

Very nice piece, IMO issued after the Axis signature in 1936!But the case seems to be done from turtle and the top from silver...is it true?

The case seems to be made of painted metal. The top appears to be silver. Wow you sold yours. I dont think I could ever sell this one. Personal value. Do you have any pictures of the one you sold? If anyone has pictures of similar Cigarette cases please post them, or any "Pact Of steel Items"
