The general have never worn the bandoleer.
The general have all the insigna, embroidered insigna, the buttons..etc in silver for tradition.
The bandoleers In gold As this, were In use from 1933 with the reform of the General BAISTROCCHI, but it were destined
to the parade uniform of the Inferior officers of Infantry, engegneer, BERSAGLIERI,GAF, Alpini.
However as soon as possible I will Insert some photos, In this moment I am not at home.

agree with Ardito (Luca) on the general uniform was used only the blue sash, you have photo of this general?

This type of uniform was introduced for the first time during the kingdom of UMBERTO I°.
It was denominated Mod.1900/902.
This is a photo of the General Incisa di Camerana with the parade uniform of this epoch.
During the great war this type of uniform was abandoned for the war demands.
In the years winds it was not used, but in 1933 considering that it was a very beautiful uniform, it was again introduced as had been for evening, with the due changes, to adapt it to the epoch and the new regolament.
The general never used the bandoleer with this uniform.
And the shoulder strap are wrong for this type of uniform.
Those pentagonal were for the uniform Grey-green
