Hi there!
Sure, the cut remind to the classical geman tunic cut, but I'm not sure that can belonged to a war production. It carried some german feature as the 'bat shape' pacth pockets and the typical 'pointned' buttons. But the open colar it was not assimilated to any tan WWII german jacket production. It strange also the 'streight' sleeves, w/out any buttoned cut on the edge. It should be a tailored tunic, but is difficult to say through the monitor and with this clearless pics!
The buttons are amovible? There's the metal ring under those? Or they're sewn to the body of the tunic?
May you posted some other more detailed pics? I would like to see the interior, the lining, proof, marking etc...
As Ardito stated I think that should be a post war bundeswehr jacket...
Hope this help. Cheers, Frank
