I went to eBay to look around. I find this Italian-German Afrika Campaign medal with 5 minutes to go. The high bid is only $33 and the seller has only 54feedbacks. There is only one picture, and it is blurry and far away. The ribbon is likely a replacement. I can't tell much about the medal but it looks like it might be bronze. Hmmm?? The typical set-up for selling a fake.
Then, I notice what looks like a green color at 7 o:clock on the medal. Could this be verdigris, indicating old bronze?
So, would you take the chance? *or* How much would you bid, if any?
