This tunic, made with khaki wool has been issued for the Italian national troops deployed in A.O.I. (East Italian Africa) just before the war, but reached
the troops together with the other grey green wool clothing , so both the
stuff were used together. The drawing of this tunic dates back to the
Abissynian campaign of 1936 but its production has been completed very later.
This garnment was completed by khaki wool trousers, khaki overcoat and
khaki puttees and /or natural leather leggings for NCOs and W.O.s.Natural leather ankle boots of course. I think it's interesting considering its strange
enemy's look according to its colour.
