    Italian Helmet?

    hello

    i ve got this helmet to buy but first need opinions because its not my area of collecting

    what do you think about it`?

            This looks like a french WW1 helmet, the model 1915 adrian. Can you post a nice picture showing the front of the helmet? It doesnt look to bad exept that it is missing the liner. The repaint is normal: all helmets were supposed to be repainted in darker blue on the front in 1916 or 1917.
            If there are no holes for a badge at the front, then it is actualy an italian helmet.

              agree with Jean-Loup IMO is an italian helmet Adrian M15.

                The comb is rivetted to the helmet, definitely not Italian as they are not.

                  it is probably a French made helmet supplied to the Italians in 1915 , because the Italians began producing their own helmets in 1916

                  the Italian made helmet is a two piece design [shell and top piece] your helmet is the earlier Model 1915 four piece design [front visor, rear visor, dome, and the top ridge piece / comb]

                    It could be italian or... french. France produced during WW I adrian without any hole on the front for various administratives services. These one were completely identical to the standard pattern excet for tge holes.

                          Hi Phil,

                          nice helmets mine compliments
                          a lot collectors is not known the history of the italian Adrian M15
                          first supplies from the french army when the Italy make part in
                          1915 at the wwI war without an helmet, some italian helmets (rare)
                          have the original blue orizion french without holes, after the italian give
                          the paint green army. Is possible to see the photos of the liners of
                          yours helmet? thanks.
