    Italian WWII "Wings"?

My wife inherited these, among some other militaria, from her great uncle. We know he served in Italy and western Europe during WWII. Do you feel these are real?

If this is not the right place to post this, please let me know.

    TIA

    Fitter's Wings

    Hi,
These wings are perfectly fine and well marked with the Bomisa trademark. They were never official. They were produced by manufacturers and sold to various ground and technical personnel, in this case an aviation fitter. But they were not official military issue.

    Cheers,

    Tod
