Hi Ron,

Nice uniform. I do however think that it belonged to generale di brigata Ernesto Ferone (only one n), who was born in 1887. He commanded the 53rd Division Arezzo in Albania-Greece in 1940, and he later commanded 47th Division Bari.

Ron, I'm working on getting a complete General's uniform from his family. It is complete with hat, helmet, belt w/Berretta pistol, paperwork and provenance. It's great to see yours so I can compare and see what I should be getting, thanks Troy

Nice set. He has quite a few Valor awards and the Crown of Italy. I cannot find the buttons in any of my reference works. What color is the center piping on the pants (white, silver?)
