    Unknown Parachute Badge

Can anyone identify this Parachute badge ? Silver and enamel and looks to be of WW2 vintage. The eagle looks like it is from one of the Baltic countries. Romania, Slovakian, Bulgarian.

    Dear Sir,

This is not a Romanian para badge. The Romanian para badge has an eagle with the wings spread wide open, unlike this one. Hope this info helps. Al

You're right. It is not like the WW2 Romanian para badge. However, look at the Post communist Romanian para badge. Very similar in design of the eagle and wreath.

It is Spanish . . . a variant of the three years parachute badge. The three years refers to the time served in the respective unit.

How does an Romanian para badge look like? pre-defection to the Allies.
