Hi,
well, i don't know if it is worth contacting Weitze, because even when they agree that an item is not original, they do not modify the description...

Please note that in the description it is not said that the Croix de Guerre Légionnaire is original...
An original is worth far far more than 450 euros... Too much for a fake, too cheap for an original.
This 1970's white metal 2-part reproduction is usually for sale for a few dozen of euros...
It is easy to spot( too many errors to count !), the easiest way is to check the "N" of "LEGIONNAIRE" which has nothing to do with the original model.
Pictures courtesy of Weitze.
For the sake of the discussion, i'm also including the front and back picture of an original CDGL (mine).
See You
Vince
