I wish they were Siberian or Kuban shields

No problem gentlemen, sadly not mine, just a pic from my records. Only pics I’ve ever seen of a real one. Here’s the back pic for other peoples records.

A real beauty Greg, what value would you put on that, just in case I was ever lucky enough to find one?.
                    Cheers

                            Tom,
It was luck, just dumb luck and being in the right place at the right time. It was at one of the early 2000's MAX show and George Peterson had a table about 2 rows from where we were set up. Had to be a Friday so it was the second day of the show and I was perusing his table when I saw a stack of about 15 sleeve shields in baseball card holders. I think there top shield was a POA or Turkistan, nothing outstanding but as I started to flip thru the stack I was shacking at what I saw. I started pulling them out and placing them to the side when George started to tell me what was in the pile. As he saw what I was pulling out he said, "Oh, I guess you do know what you're looking at!". The Dr Doll was about 5 shields down from the top. I managed to pull out about 5 or 7 shields I had lusted for and put the rest back. There were probably another 3 or 4 I could have taken but I didn't have enough cash. Other than the Dr Doll and those shown below I also picked up a Ukrainien and a XV Cossack corps shield both long since sold off. Probably one of the best scores i ever had at the MAX. The fact they were still there on the second day was the real lucky part of the story.

Wow wow wow! My man, congrats! And thanks for showing. Just a stunning collection of stupidly rare shields.

I’d love to see a pic of the XV Cossack Corps shield if you have one still?

Hi Greg is the XV Cossack korps shield the oval one with the sabres?
I would love to see a picture too.
                                Cheers
