    Bevo arm shield’s

    Hello guys,

    I would like hear your thoughs about this ‘grey’ BeVo fabric on these arm shields of Armenien and Romania. Or is it grey-green, hard to tell from a photo.

              I believe shields were issued in pairs, nice to see them (ARMRNIEN) still together. Real eye candy.

                  Dave, every once in a while you will see shields both bevo and printed in a strip of two. I would have to look and see where I read it but I have also been informed by other collectors that this was the case. When issued more than one uniform, one would need more then one shield. I imagine one for the tunic, one fore the overcoat?

                      Interesting theory - it would make sense for volunteer to get two shields - one for a tunic and one for a great coat.
